About

From Illinois, based out of the Midwest. At home everywhere.

Sharing my gifts in theatre is an honor and privilege that I don’t take lightly. Some of my favorite experiences have been teaching middle school and high school students life skills using theatre as my platform. It’s amazing to see lightbulb moments happen daily in the classroom. I also recognize my unique approach to directing people of all ages, using joy in how I work. I am asked about it constantly. My motto is let’s remove drama from the drama and find joy in the process. There is always something to learn from one another.

I am a theatre professional with a life-long career in performing arts and education. Currently, I work as Director for Learning and Development with Three Brothers Theatre in Chicago, as well as a theatre consultant for various companies throughout the United States, collaborating with schools and community partners to develop educational programming. I have hired and staffed teachers for various schools, providing curriculum and lesson plans I have created, as well as taught numerous classes for youth and adults.

I also work as the Cultural Arts Specialist for the Jack Benny Cultural Arts Center, planning arts programming for the surrounding Chicagoland area. The priority in this role is to reach the underserved communities with the arts.

Previously, I founded and administered a theatre company as an Artistic Director, excelled in Marketing and Promotions, acted as the Guest Director of numerous shows, and worked as a theatre teacher in a variety of schools.

Throughout this varied career, I bring with me a wealth of experience geared toward helping the next generation of theatre-makers have success.

Between consulting, directing and teaching, and coordinating programs, I keep pretty busy, but I always cherish the opportunity to connect with people to see what we can accomplish together. Please contact me directly if you’re interested in working with me.

Hi, I’m Angela.

Making theatre accessible to the world is one of my greatest passions. What could we do if we work together?
